Hey there, neighbor. Welcome to North Carolina Navigate, the latest entry in the State Navigate family.
As a Virginia-based organization, the State Navigate team is excited to add North Carolina Navigate to our list of live subsidiaries. Americans can now drive from the northern panhandle of West Virginia to the lowcountry in South Carolina and still be in a state that has a State Navigate subsidiary. That’s huge.
From Sylva to Kitty Hawk, and Roanoke Rapids to Wilmington, North Carolinians everywhere now have easy access to various data on the North Carolina state government, including lists of candidates and their social media/websites, detailed precinct-level election data by district, every donation received and expenditure made by a candidate’s campaign, and curated latest news from across the political spectrum. At some point, we hope to add more for North Carolinians to navigate, including our features available in neighboring Virginia and South Carolina, where users can see the ideology of their legislators and see every floor rollcall vote of relevance.
We appreciate the patience of our users in getting Michigan Navigate out. Thanks to the foundation of work built by the State Navigate team from January through September, and the hundreds of donors to our nonprofit, it took only three weeks of work for State Navigate to launch in North Carolina.
